ATI 3.2.8 Drivers Are Evil -- big problems!

Anyone know what's up with AIT's 3.2.8 drivers? I regressed to 3.2.5, because the 3.2.8's were screwing up badly. Any GL app would automatically crash with a singal/trap error or something like that. I saw one other thread in here about it, and one guy mentioned using his old XF86Config-4, which I did, to no success.

Anyway, they break bad and if anyone knows why or how to prevent it, let me know.. I tried with a default fglrxconfig setup, then with the one I used with 3.2.5, then with a fully custom one I used to use.. all with the same results.. I also tried toying with a few different configuration combinations, enabling this, disabling that, etc.. nothing worked.

So yeah, any help is, well, helpful.

Mike
