I've changed distribution from Linux Mint Rafaela to the latest OpenSuse Tumbleweed, and after doing that my wifi adapter doesn't see anymore the wifi created by the Nokia Lumia phone that I have.
Basically all the other wireless network around here are spotted by he network adapter, but the hotspot created by the Lumia is not though previously(on Linux Mint) it was recognized and was working correctly.
The network adapter that I have is the following :
Code:
04:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
and laptop I'm using is an Acer Aspire 5738Z.
Mounting an USB WiFi adapter the Lumia hotspot network is seen and works correctly as can be seen below(iwconfig output) :
Code:

I've tried installing back Linux Mint and upgrading to the 4.3 kernel and I have the same issue with the Atheros network adapter, so the problem seems to be caused by the latest kernels .
How can I solve the issue ? Is there a way to solve ?
Has someone else runned into this issue before ?
Thanks.
