Ata Raid Setup

I am having trouble installing a ATA Raid Controller on Mandrake Linux 9.0. Of course I bought the Card before going to mandrakes site to see if it was compatible? Assuming that since Mandrake is built upon RED HAT I thought that it would work? Its a promise tx2 ata card. Mandrake goes through the install and acts like its happy and even says that it detects the card during the setup, but after you reboot the system, it never goes any further than the post?

HELP? Thoughts? Commnets? I know that a adaptec 1200a is supposed to work, but has anyone managed to get a promise card to work correctly with this version?

Did you install Linux on Raid drive? If not, you check out www.promise.com and get their modules.
