ASUS Z170-K motherboard go in reset loop

Hello,

My motherboard is not stable. Have two stable ASUS Z87K
motherbords. The settings are the same on both types,
but the Z170-K will malfunction sometimes. Just now
instead of booting it will go into setup again in a
never ending loop. I tried different settings in set up
menue without luck. I will appreciate any hint on what
is going on in my computer.

2 ideas. It doesn't like your keyboard, or bad hardware. I've had some keyboards that caused very odd behavior similar to this, do you have another keyboard you can try?

Assuming it's not the keyboard, then I'd think the board itself had an issue. If there's updated firmware, I'd try flashing that first (maybe a known issue with that version), but if it keeps happening, I'd see about getting a refund if it's still under it's warranty period.

ASUS Z170-K motherboard in reset loop

The supplier tested the board with Windows and
they found it was failing to work.
I got a new board as it was under warranty period.
To my scare the new board ASUS Z170-E had the same
issue.
After trying different options in setup
it worked for me.

I entered the Boot menue in Advanced Setup:

Code:
Boot

Fast Boot Disabled
\CSM Launch CSM Auto
\Secure Boot Other OS
These changes fixed it.
Thanks for your help!
