ASUS P4P800 AD1985 is not working on RH9.0(2.4.20-8)
Hi,
I have the following configuration
sound card AD1985 on ASUS P4P800 motherboard.
RH9.0(2.4.20-8)
alsa-driver-0.9.6 (intel)
I still do not have sound, any help.

Have you disabled plug n play in your bios? If disabling plug n play does not detect your soundcard you can try sndconfig to locate the module. If you don't presently have that utility on your system you can either download it off of redhat's site or off of your cd's.

What do you mean "it did not work"?? What errors are you getting? Did you try the rpms in there? What OS are you running? Did you do the "unmute" function that they mentioned?
If you are having NEW problems that haven't yet been described in the above link, it would really be great to add them to the ABOVE link - since this thread just seems to be a copy of that one.
If I reply again next time, you can look for my answers in the link above (with all the P4P800 sound card driver information). Please feel free to leave your questions/responses there.
