Asus A7V880 problem installing Fedora 3 on a SATA hardisk


greetings!

i want to install fedora 3 on my Asus a7v880 i get this error during installation

"An error has occurred - no valid devices were found on which to crate new file systems. please check your hardware for the cause of this problem"

is there a driver i must load, so fedora will reccon. my SATA drive ?
and how can i do it ?

i downloaded 2.* gigs of fedora and i cant download another distro. to try.

hope somebody help me

The kernel in the Fedora Core 3 install CD is 2.6.9-1.667 and if it can't find your controller you need the SATA driver for Fedora Core

sp00ky: FC3 installed for me without any problems on two systems with Asus A7V880 motherboards. If you have 2 SATA drives set up as a RAID, FC3 cannot use them properly.
