Assigning 'double-click' to a specific mouse button

Hi,

I have one of those logitech mouses with a button on the side and i want to know how to assign it to 'double click' i know for a fact that linux recognises it as 'button 2' because that what comes up when i press it whilst running xev.

I just need to know which file i'd have to edit and how to tell it i want 'button 2' to = double click

any help would be appreciated. thanks :)
