Nekromaan LQ Newbie Registered: May 2006 Posts: 1 Rep:	Asrock 939 Dual Sata2 Installation Problem Hy Folks! I just bought the Asrock 939 Dual Sata2 Motherboard and uses it now as my system. But i have problems to install gentoo or debian. first of all linux doesnt recognize the network card on debian (under gentoo it works). and the second problem is that i cant partition my hard drive manually -> installation failed. im using ide hard drives. motherboard options are dual sata 2 "auto", "no-raid" and "ide". Does anybody know why i cant install linux on my partitions? Im thankful for answers greez Nekro
