I am trying to write an asoundrc file for my system, which has a card with 4 devices, hw:0,0 - hw:0,3 , so as to be able to use all of them at the same time (each one sends sound to a different set of speakers - i suspect that hw:0,3 is capture).

the thing is that i havent understood how you define the devices and combine them, good enough so as to make my asoundrc file.
so far i can only use each device seperately. i want to be able to hear sound from all my speakers (6), and maybe surround sound.
if someone could give me a hint of how to do this, or any link to any document that could make me understanf the various parameters of asoundrc, i would be grateful...
