ARM Desktop Computers and Linux

Howdy All -

I'm looking to start doing some package development for the ARM and QEMU is giving me all sorts of headaches. In the long run I think I can save myself _alot_ of grief if I can get an ARM system with a keyboard+mouse I can just hack out the packages on natively.

Can anyone recommend some good ARM hardware? Currently looking at the Apple TV box as it is fairly cheap and ARM powered - just not sure how well it will play with Linux...
