Arch Linux freezes at poweroff (hda: possibly failed opcode: 0x10)

Hallo,
recently I'va bought PCI adapter for extending ATA devices (http://www.lycom.com.tw/ST305IT.htm), connected disk (WDC WD1600JB-00REA0, ATA DISK drive). Everything is fine except switching off. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it takes longer time (more than 30 sec). Everything goes well - except the last step (when appears "Rebooting", or "Switching off" on console).

I didn't add any extra boot option into /boot/grub/menu.lst
Code:
[root@arch-linux: ~]# cat /var/log/errors.log |grep hda
Dec 29 11:01:54 arch-linux kernel: hda: task_no_data_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Dec 29 11:01:54 arch-linux kernel: hda: task_no_data_intr: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }
Dec 29 11:01:54 arch-linux kernel: hda: possibly failed opcode: 0x10

(The same errors are also in dmesg)

Code:
[root@arch-linux ~]# uname -a
Linux arch-linux 2.6.36-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Dec 10 20:01:53 UTC 2010 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Kernel is without pathes
Code:
[root@arch-linux: ~]# hdparm -vi /dev/hda

Thans for any response.

It is a problem in regards to the drive trying to cache data or access some part of the device and failing to do so, the error results may be diagnostic messages resulting of kernel commands not being sent to the disk, maybe an incompatibility. Some people have solved this issue by upgrading to a 2.6.7 series kernel.

It is nothing to worry about though, it will not cause damage as far as I know

Thank you for your response. I'm using the latest kernel and this message was caused by the new pci card. After upgrading to 2.6.36 (I think) this problem disappeared.
