Apple Pro usb Speakers and ubuntu Feisty

Hello,
i have a couple of Apple Pro Speakers (usb) and i can't make it working.
Dmesg seems to recognize that speakers but no sound exits.

usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4

I have also set "usb audio" in sound preferences.

Normally, I would suggest running alsaconf as root to set up the sound card. I dont know if that will work with usb speakers, but it is worth a try.
