apcupsd usb no devices
I have recently installed apcupsd on two linux machines. One works flawlessly, the other cannot find a USB device. Odd mix of problems:
May 3 07:44:07 therese kernel: usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 4
May 3 07:44:16 therese kernel: usb 2-2: new low speed USB device using address 5

There are no *hid* devices in the /dev directory.
Hotswap appears to be configured. I have rebooted the machine with the USB cable connected to the UPS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Dale
