I've been looking around the web for hints and clues about the APC Biopod.

I found that it is using an Authentec 3500 chip (it isn't on the authentec website) and that it is probably similar to the 3400 chip. All I want to do is make a simple interface to read the fingerprint from the scanner, I don't want to do verification because there are alot of other projects and algorithms out there for that already. Those existing programs can be used for some kind of verification deal.
