Anyone got D-Link DSL 200 Rev C1 ADSL Modem working?

I've been trying to get a D-Link DSL 200 Rev C1 ADSL USB modem working both under Fedora and Debian. And the effort is fruitless yet.

D-Link officially doesnt support Linux for the modem. So I tried with many things. Most importantly with eciadsl available from flashtux.org. There seems to be people who got to work DSL 200 but they were not using Rev C1. I even looked in to other tutorials too. Eg: http://users.tpg.com.au/johnd/dsl200.html

I'm not asking anyone to give a step by step tutorial or I'm not going to tell all the things I've been doing (because of length). If anyone has suceeded in getting a Rev C1 modem work in Linux, please just let me know.

No idea what revision it is but I have a DSL200 running great using eciadsl. If you tell me how I can find out which revision it is I'll let you know, I picked the standard DSL200, not Rev 2 when I installed eciadsl if that helps.

Any info you want let me know.

Thanx for your info.

The hardware rev is stated in the area behing the modem. Mine look like "C1".

I just got a mail from D-Link saying that there is nothing more they can do about Linux support. They were suggesting to use a ethernet model modem
