ANyone else have an Asus A7N266-VM/AA?

I just bought this board for $75 US shipped. It has the nVIDIA MCP-D Dolby Digital 2-Channel Audio w/ S/PDIF-in/out module. (That means I have to buy new audio euipment to take full advantage of this sound right?) All other A7N266 boards have the AC97. We'll see how well it works wont we?

Also have an XP220 on the way and just need to buy the RAM. Probably MICRON 512MB True PC2100 266Mhz NonEcc 64X64 184PIN DDR DIMM which can be had for under $80 from any number of places.

I'm thinking this machine deserves Gentoo or Sourcemage to do it any justice.

Any tips, suggestions, caveats, told-ya-so's, shoulda's, gotcha's etc. are welcome. Anyoe else dealt with linuxvoodoo before?
