Anybody managed to use Lexmark 1150 All-in-One with Fedora Core 1?
I have installed Fedora Core 1. I have a Lexmark 1150 All-in-One. Fedora did not pick up the hardware. I tried to install it manually only to find that the driver is missing. Lexmark does not have a driver for Linux community. Neither they have any driver SDK for 1150. I tried the driver for 1200 and no luck. Did anybody managed to get this work?
Welcome to LQ. If you haven't already checked it out, I'd recommend going to LinuxPrinting. There's a huge amount of info on how to get a wide variety of printers up and running under Linux, and chances are good they may have the driver you are looking for. Good luck with the project. -- J.W.
A lot of people are reporting that they were able to use the z600 driver for this printer, which is the same as the dell a920. I myself keep getting a "media tray empty" error.
