any idea to get hp customized/unlocked, for elitebook or insyde h2o bios, for free?
hi guys
I saw few weeks ago a specific website regarding "unlocked" bios (for features)
I have two hp elitebook ; the one have its own hp cellcard (pcmcia, 3G)
the second one didnt had ; I added a dell cellcard inside, but there is an error message from HP bios
it happens one time over two : sometimes it boots, sometime the error message is blocking everything at the end of bios.
I saw then bios-fix dot com, modding bios and unlocking them for big brands like hp
Id like to know if there are others sites or way to "unlock" bioses, mainly on elitebook for hp, or just for the same brand, insyde h2o : how to do it?
Id like to enjoy it without paying, that's it
i thank you vm

If you want to update the BIOS on an HP system, then go to HP's website and download the latest updates.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/documen...786-2338478-16
Not sure why you need/think that it being 'unlocked' does anything...either your laptop can do what BIOS is capable of, or those options will be grayed out. Has zero to do with it being 'locked' somehow. And if you want something from a shady website, then pay for it. We're not going to help you get it for free.

it looks like you have an error, because you added a cellcard. I don't know what kind of error is it and how can it be fixed, but I'm really sure unlocking bios will not help you. (there are two reasons for that: 1. there is nothing to unlock, 2. in general no error - like this - can be fixed by unlocking anything).
Finally if you really want to solve it you need to post the error message and a few other details (like the OS you use). Also probably would be nice to explain what feature do you really need (to unlock?).

Indeed...not to mention the fact that shoving a piece of Dell specific hardware into an HP machine would probably cause that error.
