Question AMD Phenom 9600 Unstable in 64bit Linux

Hello,
We just got a Phenom 9600 at work to play with. The first was a dud, didn't work at all. This one works fine in 32bit Opensuse 10.3 but we are having random lockups in 64bit Opensuse 10.3. Has anyone else had problems?

Phil

A bit more investigation suggests that this might be a failing harddrive rather than the CPU. We will try another HD in the next few days.

Thanks,
Phil
