ALSA drivers not working for my Creative Labs SBLIVE! 24Bit card... Please Help!!!
 

I use Fedora Core 2 with the kernel 2.6...

I just recently installed the alsa drivers, alsa lib's, and alsa utils and I still get no sound, Infact my computer doesnt even realize that I even have a sound card, I tried with the emu10k1 drivers.

When I do lspci This is the return for my soundcard:

The only thing stoping me from getting rid of my WIndows Partition is my love for music! Someone please Help Me!

I dont know If I did something wrong... Or if maybe I have the wrong module... Again im just A :newbie: so im willing to learn all i can out of this!

Did you put the entries into modprobe.conf? If so, type "alsaconfig" and tell us what happens.

EDIT - I think you're using the wrong drivers. Find your card on this list:

It looks like you should be using the ca0106 drivers. These directions are for ca0106:
