Alsa Configuration and Setting Card
Hi folks,
I'm having some issues learning what config files etc are relevant with regards to sound cards.
Firstly - aplay output
Code:
aplay -l

I can get my front headphones working (when front left / front right are tested) using soundtest on the alias front:PCH. I'm not sure though how I tell the operating system to use this output permanently.
I try and go into the GUI sound configuration tools but it simply hangs on 'waiting for sound system to respond'.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
