I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experiance with an Alphaserver or workstation?
I'm considering one, espically because of the 64-bit stuff, but also because of the attractive pricing. I was too late the other day, the main machine I'm looking at is an Alphaserver 1200, with one (but hopefully two) 533 mHz processors. Yesterday it was gone, $150 for a single processor unit.
I haven't found much info on these machines- but from what I understand, even the single 533 should be pretty quick? Anything I should ask the seller about a unit I am considering?
