Alienware && Linux???

Hey all.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with running Linux on any of the Alienware systems.

I'm currently looking into a laptop & desktop combo style system and I was wondering how well Linux would perform on these extreme machines.

I've played around a bit with them running XP, and they are quite smooth. However, since I'm virtually wintendo free on my network, I'd like to be able use Linux on them as well.

I mean the only reason I still use M$ is due to some programs cannot run uner wine and aren't available for Linux. (very few, but still those 4 programs --besides new games-- must have M$ to run)

Anywho...

Tnx.

P.S. can't wait for the Opterons!
