Aikun MX-21 wireless optical mouse

Hi ... I am not new to Linux operating systems, but I'm having trouble getting my new Aikun MX-21 optical mouse recognised by my Acer Aspire laptop running Xubuntu 19.04 64-bit. I see no response at all when I plug the little receiver into any of my 3 USB ports (2 USB2 and one USB3.)
Aikun don't have a Linux compatible sticker on the box ... I ordered this mouse from Amazon Canada for $10.99. Help?
Oh, and lsusb gives me

and when I unplug the receiver Device 007 disappears.

So there's your response!
Now do the following (just to get more initial information):
  • enter 'dmesg -w' in a terminal
  • discard the output you get (press Enter a few dozen times)
  • plug in the receiver, switch on the mouse, wiggle it etc.
  • copy-paste all the NEW output you get here

When I do dmesg -w I get this continuous rolling output which will not stop ...

I see nothing there either. I'm just going to return the mouse and find another. Thanks!
