AGP Aperture Size?

i was wondering what this is, i often times check out my bios config while booting, and ive come across this so many times and never really understood it, one notable thing about it is that i can select several modes, 3 of the modes i remember off the top of my head are 32, 64, and 128

im wondering if this stands for perhaps how well it optimizes memory on your gfx card? if so since i have a 128 meg card would it be best for me to change it to 128 or should i keep it on an aperture size of 64?

it's basically how much system memory is shared with the grafix card. anything above 32 to 64MB should be fine, unless you're doing hardcore gameing. too high a value will degrade perfomance,as will too low. crank it to max, test it, then back it down in steps until you get max. frame rate.
