Again Lexmark z600

hello everybody...i know that there is one more topic dealing with this problem but as it hasn't helped me i have to ask for help about this problem again....so i have mandrake 10.0 and the above mentioned printer and also the driver that i downloaded which actually worked on mandrake 9.1 but fails to work on mandrake 10.0. So I have performed the standard procedure which is

1.
cat /dev/usb/lp0 and ok i get a "garbage" display which shoudl mean the printer has been found

2. then i do the following
cd /usr/lib and do a ln -s libtcl8.4.so libtcl8.3.so and a ln -s libtk8.4.so libtk8.3.so

3.then i run the script with sh z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh -keep and usually there should "jump out" an installation Window but doesn't. still the script creates a directory called install with two rpm files and some other files

then i should usually do the following stuff

cd to /usr/share/cups/model/ and manually extract Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd from Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd.gz
and extract the *.gz file but there is no such *.gz file....

so i would be very greatfull if anyone could help me

thanx in advance

After Running the script ./z600cups-1.0.1.gz.sh
it would have created an installer directory.

su
enter password
cd installer

rpm -i z600llpddk-2.0.1.i386.rpm
rpm -i --nodeps z600cups-i.0.1.i386.rpm

second one depends on first one.

drakconf.real
setup printer

or

configure your computer from the k menu.

In the "installer" directory, I ran

./xlexinstall.tcl

...which did what I assume you wanted to see next.
