After new hd install problems

Hi i made a norton ghost 11, backup of my ubuntu jaunty ext3 partion.

I got a new 120 gb hd, first problem: it restores as ext2,
next problem after it worked the first time i rearanged things, so my swap is bigger.

now it crashes, freezes ( after gnome login)

i can read and write to it, in safe mode so to speak.

To convert ext2 to ext3
# Log in as root
# umount /dev/hda10
# mount -o remount,ro /dev/hda1
# tune2fs -j /dev/hda1
# Edit /etc/fstab, and for /dev/hda1, change ext2 to ext3
# mount /dev/hda1
# /sbin/shutdown -r now

Wait. Let's start over. What exactly did you do? How did you "rearrange things"?
