I'm not using. :) I built it for someone else according to his limited shopping skill. As indicated in my comment #12, he's using openSUSE, both 15.1 with the 15.2 kernel, and 15.2, and an Asus gamer motherboard, even though he has macular degeneration and uses a 42" TV running 1366x768 from a distance of about 40cm or less as his PC display. He bought motherboard, PS, CPU without IGP and 16G DDR4 2400 RAM from a local electronics chain store. The only RAM it offered was out of stock and took a week to show up, then one stick turned out to be defective, after another week was already lost because the store didn't sell him any kind of GPU. He took the CPU he bought back to the store and I got him the 3200G after we discussed what to choose to meet his real world needs. I had a pair of 4GB 2133 sticks I was not using, so he bought them from me instead of waiting another week or more.

Current hardware with SSD or especially NVME are so much faster than DDR2 & early DDR3 rotating rust systems from 12+ years ago, especially entry to mid-level video. It's hard for me to imagine any typical home setting user not a gamer having need for the power of the top of the line, state of the art CPUs and GPUs.

Hi mrmazda

Again thanks for that valuable information !

It's nice of you to help that man and his disability, perhaps one day I may help someone with health problems.

Take care

Gaz
