Question Advice on Asus P4P800 with Intel865PE chipset

I am trying to buy a this customized PC, with following config.

CPU : Pentium 4c 2.8GHz Northwood 512KB L2,
Motherboard : Asus P4P800 with Intel 865PE Chipset.

I need some advice whether this mother board and chipset work perfectly fine with Linux. Are there any troublesome issues ?

Can I get some suggestions on Linux distributions which do not have any trouble with this configuration?

If there are any problems with this linux compatibility of this chipset and motherboard, please let me know.

Thanks a lot,

sha

Yes, there are problems. The motherboard doesn't have native drivers for some components.

You will need to manually install the drivers and hope it works. Other boards are supported better natively.
