Unhappy Advice Needed on Replacing a new HBA Adapter

Greetings,

Port number 2 on my Qlogic HBA Adapter is bad and need to replace it. After I replaced this adapter, Kudzu will find the new adapter. There are three options, 1. Remove the existing driver, 2. Use the existing drive, or 3. Ignore

I am running RHAS 3.0 on HP Integrity server. This is the first time I have to replace a new hardware in all of my Linux servers.

I would like to know which option should I go with.

Thank you in advance.

Jorge
