ADSL Router problem

i will be brief.

i got a NetGear DG632 Router & i am using it to connect to internet at my homeplace. using the web-interface i have created an "Always On" connection i.e. when i power it ON it connects & when i power off it disconnects. trouble is the internet connection frequently dies. it reamains connected, it never disconnects itself but connections dies & gets alive automatically very frequently. i mean it opens web-pages for a minute & then it stops opening web-pages for 4-5 minutes, like it has gone dead & then next it opens web-pages for 1 minute & then it dies for next 5 minutes & so on. it happens almost all the time. i have read "TLDP's Networking, DSL how to" & an endless number of web-pages but i am not able to understand the problem. do you have any idea?

here is the output of some commands & information from some files:

Router web address (default gateway): 192.168.0.1
IP address of my computer: 192.168.0.2
(using Static IP addressing. Dynamic IP address mode does not work)
