Adding new printer(Canon MP 220). Kubuntu 9.04

I try to add my Canon MP 220 printer. After connected it to USB Document icon status program has been automatically added to task bar, but it was still impossible to print any document.
I have opened System Settings->Printer Configuration->New Printer->Add New Network Printer

System successfully find my USB Printer
I have chosen driver for my printer, but at the end of intallation I have received error message:

How can I correct this? If I try to connect to network printer I still received the same error message.

I have try to use KDE Control Module for configuration my printer.
But after chosen driver and trying to print test page the authorisation dialog has bee appeared. But I have received the similar error message

The password *may* be the same password as you use to log into the PC.

The problem is that CUPS requires a password and it may/may not work at all depending on the distro.

Option 1:
sudo adduser cupsys shadow

Option 2: (I have done this one.)
sudo passwd

Use the password you entered in option 2 when prompted at the end of adding the printer.

I try this but received message:
sudo adduser cupsys shadow
Than I try this command: sudo adduser cupsys
and than add this user to the shadow group(sudo adduse cyupsys shadow).
After setting password(sudo passwd) I try to add printer, but still have the same problem
