adding network printer

i am using Fedora core 2. my 2 other computers use windows and the printer is connected to one of the system using windows. when i try to add a network printer througn SMB. it shows the printer that is present on the windows machine. its samsung ML-1710. but when it asks to print the test page and i say ok. then it gives out some error:
unable to connect to samba host
error: connection failed with error NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

i got this working . i didnt start my samba before doing this.
