Adding a disk to a volume

I'm just wondering about this...

I want to add another 9.1GB disk to one of my volumes.
The volume that I want to add it to is the primary volume (so it's where everything sits).

I can add a disk to a normal volume, just wondering how I'd go about adding it to the primary volume.

I don't want to corrupt the file system or anything, so just after some advice to point me in the right direction.

BTW, I'm running FC3.

Thanks in advance.

This is possible with linear raid, but other than that I don't see how you would achieve what you are asking. Check out the Linux SoftwareRaid howto at
