added new HD as master, partitions on old drives are no longer recognized

I am having some big problems right now. I was running RH 8.0 on a 60gb harddrive and have data stored on an 80gb harddrive. I needed more space and wanted to upgrade to FC2. I installed a new 250gb harddrive as the master and installed FC2 on it. I now have partitions for the new drive, and one partition (the root partition which I renamed RH8) from the old 60gb drive (that partition is only 4gb's) I am unable to access the information on both of the older drives. I've tried editing my fstab file to mount the other FS's but they are not recognized. If I use partition magic the partitions still exist on the drives and the Data seems to still be intact. Does anyone understand or know how I can mount the drives and have access to them????

thanks to all those who respond,

blaine

Did you unplug the 60gb as master and replugged it as slave?
Maybe when you plugged the 60gb as slave, it didnīt get recongized in the bios?

I figured it out

sorry... I forgot that I had renamed the directories during installation. I was trying to mount the old name and it obviously couldn't find it.

thanks for the responses
