I was recently given a 4.5 Gig SCSI drive that I plan on throwing into frankenstein, but before I do I need to buy a PCI SCSI adapter. This is the best deal that I have found so far, but I was curious to see if anyone else has used this card or if there have been any known issues. I did a quick forums search for this model but came up empty.

Also, any advice on setting up the controller under slack 9.0? I am assuming that there will be a module for the card, and that loading it should be pretty simple. I have never done anything w/ SCSI (even under windoze), so any advice would be welcome too.

if its like my 2930 it has a setup function that can be entered at bootup after the bios screens but before lilo/grub takes over. if slack doesn't find it, modprobe aic7xxx
