Adaptec 2015S and 2.6 Kernel - No Drives Detected

I am running a Dual Xeon SuperMicro SuperServer 6013P-8 MB with an Adaptec 2015S card and two 36gig drives. The system came preloaded with RH 9 on a 2.4x kernel, which works. I am trying to install Suse 9.1, which is on the 2.6 kernel. When I get to the install screen it shows no drives. Does this have something to do with the raid support in 2.6? Any help appreciated...

Kernel 2.6

Probably yes, I have a Promise card and the same problem. There is no Kernel 2.6 support for the RAID configuration with Promise controller so I expect there none for adaptec either.

How about with SuSe9.2? I have ordered a similar 6013P and 2015S raid card..I was hoping to do RAID5 on the 3 SCSI drives for redundancy.

I've hunted around and DO find places selling the 6013P with SuSePro9.2..but that doesn't mean there is raid support.

What are my options then?

Yup, Suse9.2 worked perfectly. I actually went out and bought the boxed version, but the download is teh same, I just didnt want to have the hassle of setting up the network for this box beforehand. Good luck....
