Activating Sound and Network

Hy, i installed Slackware on my laptop and i'm having problems enabling sound and network card

Both hardware are detected, but the problem for the network card is that i cant activate it when i connect with cable at school (it's a broadcom 440 x 10/100 integrated controller)
It goes the same with my sound card a Sigmatel, ALSA always send an error : Broken Pipe

Last but not least, Slackware is not detecting my wireless card ( i have Centrino Technology) the card is an Intel Pro/Wireless Lan 2100 3A Mini PCI Adapter
When i use iwconfig, it says L0 no wireless etc...

Tx for the help
