Actiontec modem?
 
I am very new to Linux and recently installed Mandrake 8.2 but can't seem to figure out how to get the modem to work. The modem is an Actiontec with a lucent chipset.

This is what I got when I tried to install it, BLDrecord, and sent an e-mail to linmodems but got a return to sender notice:
