Actiontec 56k internal pci modem in mandrake 9.1

i have an actiontec 56k v.92 internal pci call waiting modem. on the box it says that it works in linux. i tried connecting to the net in linux... it went through the whole drak connect wizard then at the end it says that my modem is not supported by the system! can someone pls help?
