Acer Travelmate 4500 card reader (Texas Instruments)
hello,
a few days ago i started using ubuntu linux on my laptop (acer travelmate 4500).
most of the hardware works ok. other things i could fix using the internet. the only thing that keeps bugging me is my cardreader. it's a 3 in 1 card reader built in into my laptop.
here is my lspci output:
Code:

the last device is the card reader (i think)
if i put a memory card in, there happens nothing in "dmesg", or in "fdisk -l".
i tried to mount it, without succes. it looks like drivers are missing.
i searched driverguide.com, but couldn't find anything. i searched this forum, and found a lot of similar problems, but no solutions. so, i would really appreciate it if somebody could give me some advice how to fix this thing.
kind regards,
digits
