My problem are the lines saying "IRQ routing conflict for ABC, have irq Y, want irq X".

I have no PCI-Cards in my box... Just using all features of the mobo (Sound, USB, Network, COM1/2 and LPT1)

Anybody knows how to solve this?

btw, win98 works fine, there are no irq conflicts in the device manager...

Thank you!

Bye

could this be a problem where the BIOS thinks there is a PlugNPlay aware OS running on it? Is the BIOS assigning IRQs to devices or is it letting the OS handle it?

i disabled PnP OS in the BIOS and didn't compile the kernel with PnP support.

Windows takes over the interrupts that the BIOS has automatically assigned.

So it should work, shouldn't it?
