a7n8x - alsa

i have an a7n8x non deluxe

running a custom compiled debian 2.4.21 kernel

have installed alsa drivers from the source

they are working in xmms with normal output through 3.5mm jack using oss and default alsa drivers

and after some configuring of alsactl can play sorta through spdif

alsactl store
edit /etc/asound.state
[turn IEC958 PLayback Switch, IEC958 Playback AC97-SPSA on]
aslactl restore

currently i have sound through xmms spdif but it is twice the speed and sounds like chipmonks.

and no sound through any games etc
