A Recommend on decent cpu\gpu goop?
I'm looking for a good all around compound for economy pc builds. Any recommend? Just looking for one that does good and don't cost a lot to put on used machines. I have a lot of older pc and was going to clean the coolers and put new on them.

linuxdaddy,
Arctic MX-4 works well on all the PCs I have built:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-MX-4.../dp/B07L9BDY3T
Don't forget the isopropyl alcohol to clean away all the old paste.

Thermal grease is a standard electronics item. If you need a lot, you are best off buying a tube from an electronic parts distributor. I have an old tube from Radio Shack.

If you can't find thermal paste locally, silicon grease is also good.

thx on responses, I found .... 10 Pack HY880 Thermal Paste Kit-5.15 W/MK on Amazon for 10 dollars and will try it.
I never thought of using plumbers grease on a pc Business_kid, might try it. Artic seems a bit high for cheap builds.

I only do my 'own' PC builds, so a tube goes along ways. I use MX-4 as well. Although I've also used the paste that comes with some coolers. I never did like the paste that came pre-applied on the AMD coolers so always wiped that away and used my own.
