a quest for the XPS420 Miniview window to work on Linux

I want to be able to get the Miniview to work on Linux. To do this all I need is the Windows Sideshow software written in it's original programing language. I can then re-write in Linux to get it to work.
the only problem is finding it and I have no idea where to look. Can you help me?

No, we can't help you. That's a Microsoft product, so your only chance to get the source code is from them. Beyond that, that product was killed off twelve years ago, so it's already VERY old.

If you mean Miniview for small screens (you don't provide any useful details), there is already an implementation in the Rust language you can find/compile on Linux.
