Unhappy A problem about my soundcard!

My soundcard is Diamond S100,the Chipset is es1989s.
The ASLA can find my soundcard, but the sound is not well-balanced.After the OS startup, the sound becamed very low and I must adjust PCM or Master on the alsamixer then the sound becamed well-balanced.And I edit the /etc/init.d/bootmisc.sh,insert this lines:
amixer set PCM 80 unmute (or amixer set "PCM" 80 unmute)
amixer set Master 30 unmute (or amixer set "Master" 30 unmte)
the sound also bad.
What happend with my soundcard?
Please help me everybody!Thanks!

After making the changes you want with alsamixer run:
Code:
alsactl store
to store the settings in the file /etc/asound.state. After rebooting alsa should read the settings from that file. If it does not then you have to run:
Code:
alsactl restore
and if it works you can put this command in your init scripts.

Regards

"alsactl store" command I had try it, and the sound is alsa bad.
"alsactl restore" command I'll try it and insert my init scripts.
But the sreen show "ESS Technology ES1988 Allegro" when I use "lspci" command look round my soundcard information!
My soundcard chipset is ES1989S.

What is your problem? Did you adjust your mixer settings with "alsamixer" and store them with "alsactl store"? If you did then "alsactl restore" should use these settings next time alsa runs. Perhaps you have to take a look here to see if your /etc/modprobe.conf is correct.

I had adjust "alsamixer" and store them with "alsactl store".
I'm sure my /etc/modprobe.conf is correct.
But the sound is not well-balanced all the same.
