A good "bit of kit"

Well,

I just thought that I'd post a recommend/thumbs up for the logitech cordless desktop comfort package that arrived in the post an hour ago.

The biggest joke being that it has been more difficult to set up under windows, than it has for either mandrake 9.1 or knoppix 3.3 hard disc.

No more wires, the only difference being that I had to re set up the keyboard for UK layout with the knoppix, the mandrake just kept the normal layout.

I didn't need to find/install any drivers or shit like that, the "reciever" just plugged straight into the usual keyboard and ps2 ports so no detection problems.

IMO, an excellent piece of kit (though it's fair to say that it could take a bit of getting used to an "ergonomic" shaped keyboard, having been taught to type and only ever having used a "straight" keyboard:D)

regards

John
