Storage devices like that work on any modern operating system. They don't need to be "supported" specifically.

One caveat though...I hate USB drives that come "equipped" with some proprietary BS that will "speed up file transfers" or some other garbage. I've had bad experiences with USB drives using readyboost and that miserable U3 system under linux (even after formatting with GParted!). IMHO, just stick with a plain vanilla flash drive with no "bells and whistles".
