Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

802.11g Options

I still need to make that 508 metre leap between buildings and it would appear that my best chances are going to be with 802.11g wireless, but it would appear that there is no support for PCI cards with this protocol.

So now I'm wondering what would be involved in setting up two wireless access points (one on each end). I noticed that the WAPs have two antennae - does this mean that it gets full-duplex operation by Tx/Rx on different antennas? Any suggestions?

I do't have any suggestions, sorry. But I can answer your last sub-question. The two antenna are not for seperate Tx/Rx, but for better reception. They call it dual diversity. Here's a good little definition: http://glossary.its.bldrdoc.gov/fs-1...-013/_1836.htm

It's the same as wireless mic setups, if you have any experience with them.
