80 gig hard disc format mandrkae 10

As some of you may know, I will be building a pc in the near future. It will comprise of new parts, includind a Seagate 80 gig hard disc. Mandrake 10 has built in formatting, but could someone please tell me if it can format a large 80 gig hard disc, as some distros can only format like up to 40 gig. Also if it cant, where can i find a good boot disc that can. Also i will not be dual booting. It will be a full mandrake system, no microsoft software.

Thanks in advance.

Most limitations were only with old BIOSs or very old kernels. A new distro like Mandrake 10 will not pose a problem.

I JUST finished installing 10.1 on an 80Gig

I just finished installing 10.1 on a Western Digital 80 Gig not 1 hour ago, and I let the install program format the entire HD -

It went togeather like peanut butter and jam -

All I did was let it alone to do the install itself....
